My Partner Creations began with the loss of my dream horse, Partner.  He was the Black Beauty I had wanted since childhood; a special gift from my husband.  Our time together ended far too soon and I was left with some dear memories, pictures, and some cherished strands of hair from his tail.  Not wanting to keep Partner's hair just shoved in a drawer, I began looking for ways to display or use the hair that would pay fitting tribute to him and symbolize his beauty.   Research led me to an intricate hair weaving technique used extensively in the early 1800s to make jewelry.  The following pages provide basic samples of the four spiral pattern used.  Each piece of horse hair jewelry is made to the specific requests of the customer so each piece is different. The outcome of this journey has been an unexpected blessing.  A delightful gift to share with others who love their horses.  I hope the jewelry collection brings you joy and helps keep you close to your equine partner.
